Analisis Faktor – Faktor Risiko terhadap Kejadian Kanker Kolorektal di RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan pada Tahun 2020-2022

Abstract

Background. Colorectal cancer is the fourth leading cause of cancer death worldwide, accounting for approximately 10% of all cancer cases worldwide. In 2020 it is estimated that there will be 1.93 million new cases of colorectal cancer diagnosed and 0.94 million cases of death in 2020 worldwide. This number will continue to increase due to the shift in lifestyle towards westernization. Objective. To find out the results of the analysis of risk factors for colorectal cancer at di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan in 2020-2022. Method. This research is descriptive analytical in nature, namely with a cross sectional design in which all variables are looked at using secondary data in the form of patient medical records. Results and Discussion. The majority of patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer are in the age group 55 - 64 years (41%), most are male (72%), BMI 23-24.9 (57%), history of smoking (67%), history of alcohol consumption (55%), mostly men in the 55-64 year age group, most in the 55-64 year age group have a BMI of 23-24.9, most have a history of smoking and a history of alcohol consumption are in the age group 55-64 years, most of the male gender is at a BMI of 23-24.9, most of the male gender has a history of smoking, and a history of alcohol consumption, most patients with a history of smoking have a history of consuming alcohol, and most of those who had a history of smoking and a history of alcohol consumption were at a BMI of 23-24.9. Conclusion. The risk factor that most influences the incidence of colorectal cancer at RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan in 2020-2022 is a history of smoking (p=0,002).
