dc.description.abstract | Introduction. Dengue hemorrhagic fever is a tropical disease caused by dengue virus infection that spreads through the bite of Aedes sp mosquitoes, especially Aedes aegypti which is the main vector of dengue. The increasing incidence of dengue fever every year shows the lack of public awareness and government efforts in following up on the disease. The government has made efforts to control dengue cases in Indonesia by carrying out preventive promotional actions through the PSN 3M Plus movement. The 3M Plus movement is to clean water storage containers, close water storage containers, and re-process unused items. While Plus is an additional preventive measures such as spreading larvae exterminator larvicides, using mosquito venom, keeping predatory fish larvae and others. Objective. Knowing the picture of community development efforts, knowing the distribution of dengue and knowing the relation of mosquito breeding eradication behavior with DHF incidence in Tegal Sari Mandala III Village, Medan Denai District, Medan City. Method. The research method used is cross sectional observational analytical research with cluster random sampling technique. Results. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the most PSN actions were in the poor category, namely 66%, while the sufficient category was 33% and the good category was only 1%. There was one incidence of DHF and there was no significant relationship between efforts to eradicate 3M Plus mosquito breeding with the incidence of dengue in Tegal Sari Mandala III Village, Medan Denai District, Medan City. Conclusion. It was found that the picture of community development efforts is not good, the distribution of dengue fever in one environment and there was no significant relationship between efforts to eradicate 3M Plus mosquito breeding with the incidence of dengue fever. | en_US |
