Pengaruh Kombinasi Nuget Ikan Lemuru (Sardinella lemuru) dan Tepung Biji Durian (Durio zibethinus) terhadap Nilai Z Score dan Kadar Serum BDNF pada Anak Stunting

Abstract

Nuget Combination of Lemuru Fish (Sardinella lemuru) and Durian Seed Flour (Durio zibethinus) or Nugilempudu is proven to reduce stunting index levels, but the mechanism is still unclear.This study aims to determine the effect of Nugilempudu on Z Score and BDNF levels. This study is an experimental study that aims to see the effect of giving functional food ingredients on Z Score values and BDNF levels. Giving functional food ingredients is given for 3 months by referring to food recall given to 2 public elementary schools in Pantai Labuh District totaling 38 people. 38 research subjects became research subjects with pretest and postest treatment with the same subject. Nugilempudu was given after given instructions and food recall to approve willingness. Nugilempudu was given for 3 months after sampling for pretest BDNF blood test and Pretest Zscore. After 3 months of treatment, height and weight were measured for Zscore measurement and blood samples for BDNF level measurement. Measurement of Zscore value refers to anthropometric values from the Ministry of Health and measurement of BDNF levels using an ELISA reader. The results showed that the increase in Z score value. Zscore value before and after there was a significant increase (p=0.005), BDNF levels before and after the administration of Nugilempudu obtained a significant increase in BDNF levels (p=0.001) and a positive relationship between Z Score value and BDNF after the administration of Nugilempudus significantly (p=0.014).
