Introduction. Preeclampsia is an increase in blood pressure that appears at ≥ 20 weeks gestation in pregnant women who have normal blood pressure before and can be accompanied by proteinuria or maternal organ dysfunction. Preeclampsia (PE) is a complication of pregnancy that is a major cause of death and disability of mothers and neonates. Preeclampsia occurs in 2-8% of pregnancies worldwide, while the incidence of preeclampsia in Indonesia based on the latest data obtained is 27.1%. Objective. Describe the neonatal outcomes in pregnancy with preeclampsia with severe features at RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan in 2020 – 2023. Method. The design used is a descriptive survey with a cross sectional method and using past data or in retrospective way. Results and Discussion. The majority of neonates born to mothers with preeclampsia with severe features experienced prematurity (< 37 weeks), which is as many as 13 neonates (54.2%). Then, it was found that mothers with preeclampsia with severe features gave birth by caesarean section more, namely as many as 21 people (87.5%) and more neonates who were low birth weight as many as 12 babies (50.0%). The majority of neonates born to mothers with preeclampsia with severe features have an APGAR score ≥ 7 which means they do not experience asphyxia, which is as many as 19 neonates (79.2%). Conclusion. This study showed that neonatal outcomes in mothers with preeclampsia with severe features were poor except for APGAR score which has normal value in most neonates.en_US
