Background: Emotional mental disorders are conditions that indicate psychological changes in a person which, if left untreated, can develop into more serious conditions. Based on research by Widakdo and Besral (2013), two to file out of ten patients with chronic diseases, including tuberculosis, experience emotional mental disorders. Patients can experience symptoms in the form of decreased energy, cognitive disorders, depression, physiological disorders and anxiety. Objective: The purpose of this study to determine the description of the emotional mental disorders of pulmonary TB patients at the Padang Bulan Community Health Center and Medan Johor Community Health Center after the Covid-19 pandemic. Method: This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The sampling technique used was total sampling. The subjects of this research were patients who were diagnosed with pulmonary TB and were undergoing treatment at the Padang Bulan Community Health Center and Medan Johor Community Health Center in May - September 2023. Data were collected using the SRQ-20 questionnaire and patient medical records. The data analysis used was univariate. Results: Out of 90 patients, 47 patients (52.2%) experienced emotional mental disorders. Conclusion: The majority (52.2%) of pulmonary TB patients at the Padang Bulan Community Health Center and Medan Johor Community Health Center after the Covid-19 pandemic experienced emotional mental disorders. It is hoped that health workers and pulmonary TB patients will pay more attention to mental health so that it can be followed up.
