Peranan Sekretaris dalam Meningkatkan Citra Positif Perusahaan pada PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the role of the secretary in enhancing the positive image of the company at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan. Secretary has a big influence on a company. At PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan the secretary is tasked with assisting leaders in carrying out work so that company’s goals are achieved effectively and efficiently. Therefore a secretary must have good managerial skills. The research uses a qualitative method with descriptive data collection carried out by taking primary and secondary data sources. The results of this research show that the implementation of secretary’s role in enhancing the company’s positive image is good, especially in public services, however, in terms of secretarial duties in the secretary’s office accuracy in managing letters is still not optimal, resulting in less than optimal effectiveness in carrying out work. Therefore, the secretary should improve secretary’s performance to maximize the positive potential for PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Medan.
