Perbandingan Penggunaan Obat Anti Hipertensi pada Lansia di RSUP Haji Adam Malik dan Puskesmas Darussalam

Abstract

Background Hypertension, otherwise called hypertension, is a disease that stands out from various backgrounds. Hypertension or hypertension is an increase in systolic blood pressure of more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension has become more universal, especially LMICs. Objective To find out the comparison of the use of antihypertensive drugs in the elderly at Haji Adam Malik Hospital and Darussalam Health Center.Method This research is a cross sectional research. In this research, the technique used in collecting data is sampling technique quota sampling, where a minimum of 96 samples are needed after calculating using the Lemeshow formula. The research subjects were elderly patients at Haji Adam Malik Hospital and Darussalam Community Health Center January-October 2023. The analysis used is the Unpaired T Test and the Mann-Whiteney Test. Results. Of the 86 patient data at Adam Malik General Hospital, 2 people used ACEI, 3 CCBs, 4 β-Blockers, 1 ARB, 1 Diuretic, 75 Combinations. Of the 45 data from Darussalam Community Health Center patients, 8 people used ARB, 31 people used CCB, 6 people used a combination. The results of statistical analysis showed that there was no difference in the use of a single anti-hypertensive drug in the elderly in both institutions (p>0.05) and there are differences in the use of combination anti-hypertensive drugs in the elderly in the two institutions.Conclusion.There are differences in the use of combination anti-hypertensive drugs in the elderly at Haji Adam Malik General Hospital and Darussalam Health Center.
