Profil Nyeri Kepala Primer pada Pasien Rawat Jalan di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik Medan Tahun 2022
Abstract
Background. Headache has a significant impact on society. According to WHO at least 50% of the adults have a headache experience. Causes may vary ranging from environmental factors to genetic factors. Headache can occur in all people. Aim. To determine the primary headache profile of outpatients at the H. Adam Malik General Hospital in 2022. Methods. This study is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design. The data used is secondary data, a medical record. Sampling using total sampling technique. Results. Of the 58 medical record data, 37.9% men and 62.9% women with an age range of 18-80 years, discovered a total of 10 people (17.2%) who experienced migraine, tension-type headache 42 people (72.4%), cluster headache 1 person (1.7%), and other primary headache 5 people (8.6%). Migraine, tension-type headache, and cluster headache were most commonly experienced by women, while other primary headache was most commonly experienced by men. Migraine and tension-type headache were most common in the 36-45 years age group, with tension-type headache most often in private employees 21 (87.5%) people. Conclusion. Tension-type headache is the most common type of primary headache.
