dc.description.abstract | Isolation and identification of flavonoid compound from the bark of goring-goring (Glochidion rubrum Blume) had been carried out through the maceration extraction stage with methanol solvent. The methanol extract is concentrated, then the concentrated methanol extract is dissolved in ethyl acetate, concentrated and evaporated. The concentrated extract of ethyl acetate was dissolved in methanol and partition extracted with n-hexane. The methanol layer is then evaporated until all the methanol has evaporated. The concentrated methanol extract was then analyzed by TLC, then separated by column chromatography with silica gel as the stationary phase and chloroform: methanol (90:10; 80:20; 70:30; 60:40) v/v as the mobile phase. The pure compound obtained was a yellow amorphous solid, mass = 5.7 mg with Rf = 0.73 using the eluent benzene: acetone (90:10) v/v and value Rf = 0.77 using the eluent chloroform: methanol (80: 20) v/v. Based on UV- Vis spectrophotometer analysis with methanol solvent, it shows that there are two absorption wavelengths (λmax) 310 nm and 270 nm. The FT-IR spectrum shows the presence of O-H groups, C-H, C=O ketone, C=C aromatic, C-O-C and C-H sp2 at wave numbers 3429,43; 2920,23; 1604,77; 1500,62; 1120,64; 833,25 cm-1. Proton Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrum (1H-NMR) shows the presence of H-3' & H-5' dan H-2' & H-6' protons. Spectroscopic data shows that the isolated coumpounds are flavonol. | en_US |
