dc.description.abstract | Drowsiness while driving is one of the factors that cause traffic accidents. Drowsiness can result from lack of rest hours, high hours of activity, and monotonous movements. This will affect the brain's reaction or working system, reduce the driver's level of alertness and the driver's performance can drop below the standards required by traffic. So we need an alarm or notification that can help the driver monitor drowsiness and physical condition. Therefore a warning system was created for drowsy 2-wheeled drivers. The method used is to detect the heart rate based on normal conditions and when sleepy. This tool uses a pulse sensor to detect the heartbeat with a measurement output in beats per minute (bpm) which will be displayed on the Oled LCD. The normal human heart rate is 60-100 bpm and if the driver's heart rate is <8 of the normal heart rate then the graph will be visible on the Oled. Then if the driver is sleepy it will be detected by the Eye Blink sensor and the Buzzer will sound. | en_US |
