Description of Aggressive Behavior in Students Playing The Mobile Legends Game
Abstract
This study aims to look at the description of aggressive behavior in students who play Mobile Legends games in North Sumatra. This study uses the theory of aggressive behavior from Buss and Perry (1992) with a total of 199 students who play mobile legends game subjects. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research with data collection methods using the Buss Perry Aggression Questionnaire (BPAQ) scale which has been translated by Humairah and Dina (2023). The data obtained was processed using descriptive analysis techniques. The results obtained show (1) Students who play mobile legends games have aggressive behavior at the moderate category level. (2) In data analysis based on aspects of aggressive behavior, it is known that each aspect has a moderate category level with anger having a slightly higher percentage than the physical, verbal and hostility aspects. (3) There is a tendency for men to have a higher score of aggressive behavior than women and the older the age, the higher the percentage of aggressive behavior scores in the high category.
