Analysis of Differences in Turnover Intention Rates Between Millennial & Zelenial Generation Researchers at The Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS)
Abstract
This study discusses the Differences in Turnover Intention Rates between Millennial & Zelenial Generation Researchers at the Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS). The subjects studied were research employees at the Medan Oil Palm Research Center (PPKS). This study aims to see whether there are differences in the level of turnover intention between millennial & zelenial generation researchers. This research uses quantitative research methods with comparative descriptive research. Sampling using Accidental Sampling Technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire consisting of 26 items distributed in the form of a Google form link. The number of respondents consisted of 21 millennial research respondents & 5 zelenial research respondents out of a total population of 88 people consisting of 77 millennial research employees & 11 zelenial research employees. Data processing used the SPSS 25 data processing application. The variables in the study were normally distributed with Cronbach's alpha 0.815 (> 0.3), the Two Sample Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test with Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.633 (p>0.05), homogeneity test using Levene's test 0.350 (> 0.05), and hypothesis testing using One-Way ANOVA 0.515 (p>0.05). The results obtained through this research are that there is no difference in the level of Turnover Intention between millennial & zelenial generation researchers in PPKS, with a high level of Turnover Intention category.
