Black soybean [Glycine max (L) Merr is one of the legumes that has more anthocyanin content and has a longer shelf life than yellow soybean The increasing demand for soybean is not balanced with productivity, production and also the nutritional content produced This study aims to analyse the growth response, production and nutritional content of black soybean through multicanopy planting system The research design was a randomised complete block factorial design with several treatments including different cultivars, detam 1, Mutiara 2, detam 3 prida, detam 4 prida Plant spacing, pruning, and liquid organic fertiliser treatments. The use of topsoil in the form of beds, basic fertilisation, and pesticide application. The research was conducted in 2 stages, namely the 1st stage Screening of Black Soybean Cultivars, 2nd stage Production and Nutritional Quality Testing. The results of the 1st stage of research resulted in the best cultivar which was most significant in Detam 3 Prida, 20 x 20 cm spacing with K3P2J1 code significantly influenced the parameters measured when compared to other cultivars In the 2nd stage, the interaction that gives the most significant response to the application of liquid organic fertiliser and pruning through a multicanopy planting system is in soybean detam 3 prida, 40% concentration in K3M3 code on the parameters measured except the assimilation rate which is at 0% concentration with K3M1 code. Research with a multicanopy planting system provides a good response to the growth, production, and nutritional content of black soybean plants with the treatment of cultivars, plant spacing, and pruning that have been determined only.en_US
