Faktor – Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Keputusan Petani Mengadopsi Usahatani Padi Sawah Organik (Kasus : Kelompok Tani Mekar Pasar Kawat, Desa Karang Anyar, Kecamatan Beringin, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, Provinsi Sumatera Utara)

Abstract

Organic farming systems can provide agricultural products that are safe for consumption and can preserve nature and the environment, but the number of farmers who adopt organic rice farming is still small. The purpose of this study was to analyze what factors influence the decision of farmers to adopt organic rice farming in the study area. Are The method of determining the research area is determined purposively or intentionally. The sample size was determined using the census method, namely by taking the entire population of farmers in the study area to be sampled as many as 40. Data collection was carried out by interview using a list of questions from a questionnaire that had been prepared previously. The analysis method used in this research is binary logistic regression method. The results showed that the factors that have a real effect are age, education level, and frequency of attending counseling, while the factors that do not have a real effect is the length of farming.
