    Abstract
This study aims to determine the implementation of biosecurity, the influence, and the relationship between the implementation of biosecurity and mortality in the laying hen farming business in the Prestasi District. This research was conducted in February 2023 and the type of research used was explanatory quantitative. The sample in the research was 55 laying hens breeders. Data collection was carried out through interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis used in this research is descriptive statistics using frequency distribution tables, multiple linear regression analysis, and statistical induction (inference) using Spearman's rank correlation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of biosecurity is included in the poor category with an average weight value of 154.3. Meanwhile, the results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that the variables (sanitation, isolation, and traffic control) simultaneo usly have an influence on the mortality variable. This is evidenced by the value of Fcount (7.790 ≥ 2.78) with a significant value (0.000 ≤ 0.05). The results of the Spearman rank correlation test showed that the relationship between the implementation of biosecurity and mortality when viewed from the number of correlation coefficie nts is positive, namely 0.337 with a significant value of 0.012 ≤ 0.05, the implementation of biosecurity and mortality is interpreted as having a positive and unidirectional relationship. This shows that the mortality of laying hens in the Finish District is not only influenced by the implementation of biosecurity but by several other factors.
