The Influence of Work Environment and Job Burnout on Employee Productivity at PT. Indojaya Agrinusa Medan
Abstract
Work Productivity is a measure of the efficiency and effectiveness of an individual in an organization to produce certain outputs or results using a certain amount of effort in a certain period of time. Productivity can be influenced by the work environment and job burnout. If employees feel uncomfortable in the work environment, the work productivity provided will be optimal, and if employees are not easily bored, tired in doing work, then their work productivity will also increase and provide good results for the company.
This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and job burnout on employee productivity at PT Indojaya Agrinusa Medan. The influence between the work environment and job burnout will be analyzed partially and simultaneously on work productivity.
This study uses quantitative methods involving 72 employees as research samples. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly, while secondary data through literature studies. The data analysis method used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing.
The results of the research conducted show that the variables of Work Environment and Job Burnout have a significant effect, both partially and simultaneously (together) on Employee Productivity at PT Indojaya Agrinusa Medan. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is an era relationship between the work environment and job burnout on work productivity with an R value of 0.814. Through the Adjusted R Square value or the coefficient of determination shows that the Work Environment variable (X1) and Job Burnout (X2) can explain the Work Productivity variable (Y) by 65.3%, while the remaining 34.7% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.
