Research has been carried out regarding the impregnation of SrO on mesoporous sifica synthesized using templating anionic surfactants. Impregnation was carried out by varying the mass of Sro on mesoporous silica, namely 10%, 20% and 30% SrO was impregnated on mesoporous silica using the wet impregnation method. The results of FT-IR spectrum analysis show that there is a decrease in intensity and a shift in the wave number in the silanol (Si-OH) and siloxane (Si-O-Si) groups and there is absorption at the wave number 401.19 cm-1 which is the peak of the SrO group. The results of the XRD difragtogram analysis show that the catalyst is amorphous and there is a decrease in intensity and a shift of the main 20 diffraction peak to a smaller direction and the appearance of a diffraction peak from Sro. namely at the 20 angle of 30.54°. The results of BET analysis show a type IV isotherm curve with an H3 type hysteresis loop on the SrOt20%)-MS catalyst variation. Where the surface area is 75.5575 m2/g and the pore size is 27.5795 mm. Based on the data above, it shows that the impregnation of mesoporous silica with Sro has been successfully carried out and applied as a catalyst for the transesterification reaction of castor oil From the FT-IR spectra data of the three fatty acid methyl esters produced, it shows that methyl esters have been formed, which is indicated by the emergence of stretching vibrations of the C-O-C group at wave numbers 1028.7 cm-1. 1162.9 cm-1 and 1237.5 cm-1. Based on GC-MS chromatograph data from the three castor oil methyl esters produced using impregnated catalysts, the best results were obtained, namely the SrO(20%)-MS variation catalyst with a ricinoleate methyl ester conversion of 89.48%en_US
