Rice is the type of food crop that is most widely cultivated in North Sumatra Province. However, the irregular climate in North Sumatra Province means that agriculture, especially rice crops in this province, is very dependent on the weather. One of the factors that influence rice growth is climatic factors consisting of air humidity, rainfall, sunlight and temperature. Therefore, this research aims to find out/analyse the impact of climate on rice productivity in North Sumatra Province. The data used in this research is secondary data with a 10 year time span for the 2012-2021 period. The data analysis used in this research is a multiple linear regression test assisted by the SPSS 25 aplication. The research results show that simultaneously climate factors have a significant effect on rice productivity. Meanwhile, partially the climate factor air humidity has a significant effect and climate factors such as rainfall, duration of sunlight and temperature do not have a significant effect on rice productivity.
