Post-public outbreaks are still limited and regulated by several health protocols to avoid the rapid and wide spread of the virus. One of the protocols is to limit crowds or density, especially in closed spaces. Based on this background, a system is needed that can count the number of visitors entering the room. The system must also limit by closing the entry point if the number of visitors has reached the maximum limit. To realize the counter system or counter the number of visitors, a device is needed that can detect visitors when entering the room. The system equipment is an electronic which is nothing but a sensor. And for that, it is necessary to distinguish between the entrance and exit so that there is no misreading by the sensor. In addition to the sensor, a control system and output components are also needed. This design utilizes the E18-D8ONK infrared sensor, a Wemos D1R1 microcontroller which is a microcontroller with several I/O and good features. To detect body temperature, a non-contact temperature sensor type MLX 90614 is used. From the research results, it is obtained that the effective distance of measurement by the MLX 90614 temperature sensor is below 10 cm. The sensor cannot measure the temperature of objects above 10 cm. Thus the sensor can only be used for short distances. However, the advantage of the sensor is that it does not need direct contact so that there is no physical contact with someone who has the potential to spread the virus and the device has worked according to its function, namely calculating and detecting the body temperature of visitors with LCD display output and to block and limit visitors, a portal door can be used that will not open if the temperature is abnormal or more than 37 ℃ and visitors who exceed the specified capacity limit of 20 people. The program algorithm can be made in C programming language with the help of Arduino IDE software version 1.8.20.en_US
