Abstract

This thesis research examines the management of the Shine Music arts organization and the management of orchestra performances carried out by Shine Orchestra. This research focuses on the management system that Shine Music applies in managing organizations or music performances, and also the system that Shine Music applies in managing orchestra performances. This research uses three theories, the music performing arts theory and performance theory. This research uses a qualitative approach with a grounded theory method which aims to test the theory with facts in the field. Shine Music management in the organizational system and also the management of music performances in accordance with the arts management theory used focuses on four main aspects, namely planning, organizing, mobilizing and supervising. In terms of managing orchestra performance Shine Music also applies the management system put forward in the theory used, where in its performances Shine Orchestra fulfills the seven performance elements.
