Inventory control is an activity that can estimate the amount of inventory accurately, with an amount that is neither less nor too large compared to needs and demand. Inventory control is carried out to obtain inventory cost savings by maintaining inventory levels at optimal levels. One way to reduce inventory levels is to use the Just In Time (JIT) method. The Just In Time (JIT) method reduces inventory levels so that it can reduce costs as efficiently as possible. According to this research, it can be demonstrated that, when employing Just In Time (JIT), raw material inventory maintenance expenses are less expensive than they were in the past. Before using the strategy, the total cost of inventory was IDR 32,359,000.00, with a frequency of 24 orders for each raw material each month. In contrast, using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) technique resulted in expenses of IDR 17,767,620.00 due to the 13 and 20 orders each period, respectively, for raw materials for soybeans and palm sugar. The cost of using the Just In Time (JIT) technique, which orders each raw material four times every period, is IDR 8,883,810.00. These calculations show that the Just In Time (JIT) technique of incurring inventory expenses is more effective.
