Several factors, including the library environment and the ability of employees, affect the quality of services provided by libraries. This research aims to find out how the staff competence variables and the library environment influence the quality of service. The data analysis method used is PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling). The results of the study showed that staff competencies contributed positively and significantly to the quality of service by 0.457, and the library environment contributed significantly and positively to service quality by 0.441. The value of the service quality variable of 0.415 indicated that the moderate model, showing that the model could explain 16.3% of the variation of competence, and the competence variable by 0.163 showed the moderated model, suggesting that it could explain 41.5% of the variant of competency.en_US
