An Overview of The Resilience of The Online Ojek Driver Community
Abstract
This research aims to determine the resilience of the online motorcycle taxi driver community. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. There were 115 online motorcycle taxi drivers who joined the community and were the subjects of this research. The sample in this study was a community of online motorcycle taxi drivers with an age range of 18-65 years. Subjects were determined using non-probability sampling with the Accidental Sampling method. The data obtained was processed with descriptive analysis using the JASP 0.18.0.0 application. The measuring tool is a community resilience scale (Communities Advancing Resilience Toolkit Assessment Survey (CART-AS)) by Pfefferbaum et al. (2015). Descriptive analysis shows that 74% (85 participants) of online motorcycle taxi driver community resilience have moderate community resilience, 26% (30 participants) have high community resilience, and 0% or no participants have low community resilience. The results of the analysis of each aspect of community resilience show that the majority of participants are in the medium category, except for the aspects of concern and connectedness. This shows that the sense of caring and connection between community members in this study makes a greater contribution to the resilience of the online motorcycle taxi community. The results of the analysis of each factor show that the majority of participants are in the medium category. Regarding the gender factor, 80.65% of women were in the medium category and 19.35% were in the high category, while 71.43% of men were in the medium category and 28.57% were in the high category. In the age factor with a range of 22-40 years, 73.74% are in the medium category and 26.26% are in the high category, while in the 41-60 year age range, 75% are in the medium category and 25% are in the high category. The overall results show that the majority of participants in this study had moderate resilience.
