    Abstract
Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is classified as a disease outbreak that has appeared for a long time but until now there are still many positive cases that have even caused death. Handling of DHF can be done through controlling and preventing the emergence of disease vectors. One house one jumantik is a DHF control and prevention program. The program requires the active role of the community because dengue vector nests are generally located in the community's neighborhood through independent community empowerment to protect the environment, especially their respective residences. This research was conducted to analyze community empowerment programs through one jumantik house to control and prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever in Pekanbaru City. The aspects assessed are input, process, output, and regional development aspects in Sail and Limapuluh Districts. The results of the analysis show that (1) the input aspect still needs a lot of improvement in terms of human resources, funding, facilities and infrastructure. (2) The process aspect is not in accordance with the technical instructions, seen from the fact that there are still people who do not know how to check larvae, the recording and reporting process is not optimal and the lack of counseling materials. (3) The output aspect of the program has not been fully achieved. The ABJ in two sub-districts is still below the target, which is ≥ 95%. (4) When viewed from the aspect of the area, Limapuluh District and Sail District are flood-prone areas with drainage and sanitation systems that still rely on gravity.
