dc.description.abstract | The Generation Z possesses distinctive characteristics due to their close affinity with widespread technology usage. There is an issue concerning the decline in subjective well-being when individuals engage with technology incessantly. This is associated with heightened stress and a deficiency in emotional connections with others. However, empathy is considered to be correlated with well-being as it aids individuals in perceiving the emotions of others, thereby enhancing positive sentiments within themselves. Penelitian merupakan metode kuantitatif korelasional menggunakan teknik analisa pearson, yang menghubungkan skor kedua variabel pada 206 sampel. The study utilizing a quantitative correlational approach with Pearson analysis on 206 samples. Results indicates that empathy is not linked to the happiness of Generation Z. Furthermore, empathy demonstrates a relationship with individual positive affect, but concurrently, there is an increase in negative affect. | en_US |
