Online game addiction is an online gaming activity that is done excessively and is done to escape from the reality of life. The use of technology used to play online games is via smartphone. The development of increasingly sophisticated technology such as smartphones unknowingly coexists with nomophobia, because nomophobia is the fear of being out of contact with a cell phone and is considered a modern phobia as a side effect of interactions between humans, information and communication technology, especially smartphones. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between online game addiction and nomophobia in adolescents. The method used in this research is a quantitative method and the sampling technique uses cluster sampling. The number of samples in this study was 147 teenagers. The Online Game Addiction Scale uses a scale developed by Lemmens, et al (2015) and has been adapted by Rangkuti, et al (2021) into Indonesian based on criteria. Meanwhile, the Nomophobia scale was developed in a study conducted by Yildirim and Correia (2015). The results of this study show that there is a positive relationship between online game addiction and nomophobia in adolescents with a correlation coefficient value of 0.169.
