Faktor Determinan Perilaku Kriminal pada Anak Berhadapan dengan Hukum (ABH) di Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas I Medan

Abstract

This study aim to see an overview of the dominant factors that cause criminal behavior in children in conflict with the law in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Medan. This research uses a quantitative approach method, namely descriptive analysis with purposive sampling method. The sample size in this study was 130 subjects. The subjects in this study were child prisioners at Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA) Kelas I Medan. In this research uses the theory of factors juvenile criminal behavior proposed by Willis (2015) which consist of family factors, school factors, and community factors. The result of this study showed that family factors are the dominant factors that cause criminal behavior in children conflict with the law in Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas I Medan. After that, followed by community factors and then school factors.
