ChatGPT (Generative Pre-training Transformer) is an OpenAI-based artificial intelligence that can help answer questions asked by users, both for educational purposes and outside the world of education. This research aims to determine the attitude towards ChatGPT among students at the Faculty of Psychology, University of North Sumatra. Subjects were determined using non-probability sampling techniques with Purposive sampling techniques. The measuring tool used is an attitude scale towards ChatGPT which was compiled by researchers based on the attitude components of Azwar (2022), namely cognitive, affective and conative components. Descriptive analysis produced a mean of 50 with a standard deviation of 10. The subject's maximum score was 131 and the minimum score found was 31. The results showed that there were 310 students (91.1%) who had a positive attitude towards using ChatGPT and 26 students (7.64%) have a negative attitude towards using ChatGPT.
