This research aims to describe the types and meanings of reduplication in the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. The data collection techniques used in this research are reading and note taking. The data is analyzed using Chaer's (2011) theory on the types of reduplication and Ramlan's (2001) theory on the meaning of reduplication. The result of this study shows that there are 646 reduplication data in the novel Cantik itu Luka by: Eka Kurniawan. These 646 data are classified according to their types, namely 455 types of whole reduplication, 134 types of partial reduplication, 49 types of reduplication combined with affixes, and 8 types of reduplication with phoneme changes. And according to the meaning, namely expressing the meaning of many related to the repetitive form as much as 418 data, expressing the meaning of many not related to the repetitive form as much as 61 data, expressing the meaning of unconditional as much as 2 data, expressing the meaning of resembling what is mentioned in the repetitive form as much as 17 data, expressing the meaning of the action in the repetitive form is done repeatedly/continuously as much as 104 data, expressing the meaning of the action in the repetitive form is done pleasantly, with ease, with pleasure as much as 7 data, expressing the meaning of the action in this form is carried out by two parties and hits each other or reciprocally as much as 3 data, expressing the meaning of things related to the work mentioned in the repetitive form as much as 2 data, expressing the meaning of somewhat as much as 4 data, expressing the meaning of the highest level in a statement as much as 13 data, and expressing the meaning of simply expressing the intensity of feelings as much as 15 data.
