Komparasi antara Usahatani Padi Sawah dengan Usaha Agrowisata Berbasis Padi Sawah (Kasus : Desa Sidua-Dua, Kecamatan Kualuh Selatan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara)

Abstract

Farming is an activity in the agricultural sector where farmers can manage the resources they have so that they run effectively and efficiently, by managing resources farmers can obtain the highest profits. The aim of this research is to determine the comparison of costs, comparison of revenues, comparison of income from lowland rice farming before and after the existence of lowland rice-based agrotourism in Desa Sidua-Dua, Kecamatan Kualuh Selatan, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu. The research method used was observation and interviews at the research location with the help of questionnaires to the samples. Sample of 22 lowland rice farmers who did not carry out agrotourism and 6 lowland rice farmers who did agrotourism. The analytical methods used are cost, revenue and income analysis, then the T test is carried out. The results of the research show that there is no significant difference between the production costs of lowland rice farming without agrotourism and lowland rice farming with agrotourism, and there is a significant difference between the revenue and income of lowland rice farming without agrotourism and rice farming with agrotourism.
