| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to describe the form and use of the Kansai dialect in the comic Summertime Rendering. The formulation of this research problem is how the forms of the Kansai dialect and how to use the Kansai dialect in the Summertime Rendering Comic. The data used is online comics from the website shonnenjumpplus by Shueisha. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection is done through literature, reading comics online, recording every form. It uses rule theory and the use of the Kansai dialect written by Palter and Slotsve. The results showed that the kansai dialect was used as a shortening of vocabulary, a change in certain vocabulary, a change in the phoneme s to h, a change in the phoneme d to y, as a shortening of vowels at the end of sentences, lengthening vowels at the end of sentences, as an informal dialogue, as an emphasis, a substitute for double consonants, to show sympathy and reduce anxiety. The conclusion of this study shows 52 words consisting of 10 forms , that is, certain forms of word change are most found. and the form of word repetition is the least data. | en_US |
