    Abstract
Research has been carried out on the analysis of the elemental content of Cadmium (Cd), Copper (Cu) and Magnesium (Mg) in refillable drinking water using the Atomic absorption spectrophotometry (AAS) method. The aim of this research was to determine the metal levels of Cd, Mg and Cu in refillable drinking water. The samples analyzed were refill drinking water from certain depots which were bought and sold in several places in Medan City using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS) at specific wavelengths, namely Cd= 228.80 nm, Mg= 285.2 nm, Cu =324.7 nm. The results of the research show that the level of the element Cadmium (Cd) contained in drinking water refilled gallons "A", "B", "C" is 0.0027 mg/L for sample "A"; 0.0015 mg/L for sample “B”; 0.0021 mg/L for sample “C” and 0.0010 mg/L for sample “V”. The Magnesium (Mg) element content in drinking water refills for gallons "A", "B", "C" is 4.570 mg/L for sample "A"; 8.032 mg/L for sample “B”; 7.052 mg/L for sample "C" and 1.549 mg/L for sample "V". And the level of the element Copper (Cu) in drinking water refills for gallons "A", "B", "C" is 0.018 mg/L for sample "A"; 0.020 mg/L for sample “B”; 0.039 mg/L for sample "C" and 0.014 mg/L for sample "V". The research results show that the content of the elements Cadmium (Cd), Magnesium (Mg), and Copper (Cu) in drinking water refilled gallons "A", "B", "C" is greater than in bottled drinking water "V", and still comply with Minister of Health Regulation Number 492/Menkes/per/VII/2010.
