This research aims to describe the stages of the ulaon matumona tradition in the Toba Batak ethnic group, describe the form and meaning of the ulaon matumona tradition in the Toba Batak ethnic group, describe what local wisdom values are contained in the ulaon matumona tradition. The theory used in analyzing the data is theory. local wisdom put forward by Robert Sibarani. The method used in this research is qualitative method. The results of the research show that the stages of the Ulaon Matumona tradition consist of three stages, namely: 1) martonggoraja 2) paojakhon borotan 3) implementation of the matumona stages. The forms and meanings found in the Toba Batak ethnic ulaon matumona tradition include: 1) The form and meaning of the offerings/offerings of the ulaon matumona tradition, 2) The form and meaning of the clothing used. Local Wisdom in the Ulaon Matumona Tradition with Local Wisdom Values of Welfare, namely 1) hard work, 2) mutual cooperation 3) discipline, 4) gender management, 5) cultural preservation and creativity. The local wisdom values of Peace are: 1) politeness, 2) gratitude, 3) commitment, 4) honesty, 5) positive thoughts, 6) social Solidarity.
