dc.description.abstractRecruitment can also be said to be a control tool for finding legislative candidates. So that the policies the party will take can be implemented and not harm the party. In general, recruitment of legislative candidates from the Garuda Party, especially in the Deli Serdang 3 electoral district, which covers five sub-districts, namely Deli Tua, Namorambe, Patumbak, Sibiru-biru and Sibolangit sub-districts. This research uses democracy theory, political participation theory, and voter behavior theory. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, in the form of interviews as book and primary data, journals and articles. In this research, data was created about the Garuda Party and legislative candidates. The results of the analysis in this research found three main findings, namely the Recruitment Process for Prospective Legislative Candidates, the History of the Formation of the Garuda Party, and the Socialization of the Garuda Party.en_US
