dc.description.abstract | Cerebral palsy children are one of the groups of children with special needs who are included in children with physical disabilities who are identified as cerebral palsy which affects movement and muscle coordination. Seeing the problems experienced by children with cerebral palsy, the Simalungun Regency Friendly House Foundation for Children with Special Needs provides social services. This research aims to find out how the social welfare services for children with Cerebral Palsy are at the Rumah Ramah Foundation for Children with Special Needs in Simalungun Regency and the benefits of intervention received by families and children with Cerebral Palsy. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach, and uses primary data collection techniques through observation, documentation, interviews with informant selection carried out using purposive sampling, and uses secondary data collection techniques to achieve research objectives. This research found social welfare services for Cerebral Palsy children at the Foundation for Friendly Homes for Children with Special Needs in Simalungun Regency and the benefits of intervention received by families of Cerebral Palsy children, namely Health Services for Cerebral Palsy Children, Services for parents of Cerebral Palsy Children, as well as general social assistance for Cerebral Palsy Children. In carrying out Social Welfare Services, the Groupwork Intervention stages are carried out as follows: Review stage, assessment stage, intervention stage and termination stage. In the end, this research hopes that the government, health institutions, institutions for children with disabilities, and other parties will increase awareness and work together to help deal with the problems of children with special needs so that they can receive good social welfare services. | en_US |
