This research aimed to investigate the standards of facilities and infrastructure in the library of North Sumatra State Islamic University (UINSU). The investigation was conducted based on the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2017 concerning National Standards for Higher Education Libraries. UINSU library is located on Jl. Willem Iskandar, Pasar V, Medan Estate, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. In this descriptive qualitative study, data were collected through a survey, interview, and documentation. The interview was conducted with participants selected using the purposive sampling technique. According to the Regulation of the Head of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia Number 13 of 2017, the standards of facilities and infrastructure consist of four indicators, namely, library building/space area, rooms, facilities, and location. The results of this study show that the facilities and infrastructure at UINSU library have met the standards of the Indonesian National University Library Regulation. Two indicators meeting the standards are facilities and location as the library has adequate furniture, storage, multimedia equipment, etc. In addition, it is located in a strategic location on the area of UINSU campus, so it is easily accessible to the academic community. Meanwhile, the indicators that do not meet the standards are the library building and rooms.
