The purpose of this study is to determine the Conservation Analysis of Dutch Language Library Materials at the Archives and Library Office of Pemantangsiantar City based on ten indicators: Document Cleaning, Repairing damaged library materials, Document Humidification, Lamination, Protective coating, temperature and relative humidity in storage rooms, Maintenance of cleanliness of storage rooms, Lighting arrangements, Fumigation Implementation, implementation of surveys on the physical condition of collections. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The population of the study consists of three individuals, namely one Head of the Library Material Preservation Section and two librarians. The technique for measuring the sample is by using questionnaire techniques, interviews, and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that active conservation of cleaning library document materials carried out at the Archives and Library Office of Pemantangsiantar City still uses simple methods such as brushes, dust cleaners, dusters, cleaning cloths, and vacuum cleaners. Librarians only take books from shelves and repair them directly, so there is no specific placement for damaged collections, and there is no specific schedule for humidification activities. Lamination of Dutch language library materials does not use washi tissue. Encapsulation uses clear covers made of plastic without using document folders or slipcases. Passive conservation only monitors temperature and relative humidity in storage rooms using a temperature of J 8°C. Maintenance of cleanliness of storage rooms is done using simple techniques, such as sweeping and mopping the rooms, dusting with cloths, dusters, and vacuum cleaners, and placing camphor to prevent pest attacks. Lighting arrangements use lamps and sunlight, and special curtains are used to block sunlight. The library has never fumigated library materials. The implementation of surveys on the physical condition of collections is conducted every three months. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the Conservation of Dutch Language Library Materials at the Archives and Library Office of Pemantangsiantar City still uses manual methods and has shortcomings.en_US
