Peran Dinas Pertanian dalam Penyaluran Pupuk Bersubsidi di Desa Sukanalu Kecamatan Barusjahe

Abstract

The central government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, launched a subsidized fertilizer program to help people who make a living as farmers. The subsidized fertilizer provided cannot be redeemed by all levels of society. In the Sukanalu Village area, Barusjahe District, it was found that many people who received subsidized fertilizer were not on target, so the role of the agricultural service was needed in distributing subsidized fertilizer so that the subsidized fertilizer was suitable for its intended use. So the aim of this research is to find out and describe in detail the role of the Agriculture Service in the distribution of subsidized fertilizer in Sukanalu Village, Barusjahe District. This research uses descriptive research methods with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation carried out at the Karo Regency Agricultural Service Office, Barusjahe District Agricultural Extension Agency Office. The data obtained was then analyzed qualitatively by reviewing all the data collected, which was supported by the results of interviews with the theoretical approach put forward by Siagian that is the role of government as a stabilizer, pioneer, modernizer, catalyst and dynamist. Through this research, it can be seen that the role of the Department of Agriculture in the distribution of subsidized fertilizer is as a stabilizer. The Department of Agriculture maintains the stability of fertilizer in the distribution of subsidized fertilizer. The role of the Department of Agriculture as a pioneer is able to become a role model for the community. The role of the Department of Agriculture as a modernizer. The Department of Agriculture must be able to create advanced farmers.
