This thesis is the creation of a phenomenon-based musical composition Anak Sasada in a Toba Batak family. Existence Anak Sasada In Toba Batak society, there is a situation where there is only one son in the family who will be the successor of the clan and be the parents' only hope in achieving their dreams. Various experiences in the life journey of Anak Sasada are an interesting idea that can be the basis for creating musical compositions, starting from waiting for birth, the birth process, the growth period, the process of recognizing oneself as a child.son, and various things that become responsibilities in the course of his life. Composition creation sada gabe sampulu sada interpreted through events experienced by parents and Anak Sasada it self. Composition creation ideas Sada Gabe Sampulu Sada consists of eleven main ideas arranged based on the sequence of events, namely: Panghirimon means the waiting period for birth, We do not repent means the process of birth, Hatutubu means the process of caring for and raising children, Haeteon means childhood, Marsimbur means the process of growth, Magodang means a period of self-maturation, Marbinoto means recognition of one's situation, Suhar Ni Roha means inner conflict about rejection or acceptance of oneself asson, Ias Ni Roha means self-acceptance, Abara means the responsibility carried out as Anak Sasada, Sampulu Sada means successful implementation of all responsibilities. The ideas of creation are interpreted through the idiom of Toba Batak traditional music, HKBP ecclesiastical music, and Western music. Composition Sada Gabe Sampulu Sada presented in the instrument format Sulim, Hasapi, Taganing, Ogung, Sarune, piano, Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, Violin, Viola, Cello, Drums and Vocals. Sada Gabe Sampulu Sada presented with eleven compositions which are interpreted based on eleven compositional ideas that tell stories of experiences and life journey processesson.
