This is a study on the Exchange Structure used by teachers of five different subject matters in bilingual classes of SMP Negeri I Medan. It is aimed at finding out how the interaction structure during the conversation and is conducted primarily to determine the exchange structure produced by the teacher and learners during the class sessions. The questions were contributed to investigate the talks shared by teachers and students and to describe the move structures formed as the combination of acts in which each act realizes one element of move structure by using classroom analysis. The data were utterance transcribed from the recording of nine classes of Math, Physics, Biology, English and TIK subject matters during the period of March- April 2013, which were then analyzed in term of teacher and students talks, and the exchange structure following the frame work proposed by Flanders and Sinclair and Coulthard. The results showed that the talk was dominated by teachers, particularly on the categories of no 4, 5, and 6, while student mostly practiced no 8. In term of exchange structure formation, it was found that the patterns referred to any of the ( I, I R, Ib R, I R1 R2, I R F, I R1 R2 F, I R1F1 R2F2) that confided to the basic formations, IR(F) and because the classes were of disciplines that very different in their nature, there were possible term of I1, I2, R1, R2, F1and F2 occurring among the analysis that was supposed to be formal and though the exchanges were the same and they had the same structure, they were made up of different kinds of moves and different kinds of acts.
