dc.description.abstract | Asphalt is widely used as a road construction material. Thermal and Morphological Analysis of Liquid Natural Rubber-Asphalt Mixture and Epoxy Resin on the Strength Properties of Asphalt has been carried out. Asphalt used is Asphalt pen 60/70. Then heated for 30 minutes at 120o C while stirring until melted. Asphalt modification was made in 4 types of variations in the ratio of asphalt and LNR with epoxy resin of 20 : 80; 40 : 60; 60 : 40; 80 : 20 (b/b). Thermal and morphological analysis of asphalt modifications tested includes DSC and SEM. The results of the DSC analysis showed that the 80:20 asphalt mixture was the optimum result for the composite sample variations and the SEM analysis result showed that there were structural differences after the epoxy resin was added to each component of the asphalt mixture and liquid natural rubber. | en_US |
