Spinach is one of the most nutritious green vegetab les. Spinach is useful in preventing various
diseases because it protects and strengthens the body in various w,a)s. Analysis o'f Diazinone Active Ingred ients in Spinach ( Amaranthus hybridus L.) has been carried out at UPT. PTPH In North Sumatera. This study aims to determine the diazinon content in green spinach and to find out that green spinach contains diazinon insecticide residues which are still within the maximum residue limit (BMR). The method used is Gas Chromatography with column temperature: 190°c, injector temperature 230°c, detector temperature 230°c and flow rate 30ml/min. The pesticide residue obtained from the active ingredient diazinon was detected in spinach as much as 0.144 mg/kg. From the research data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that Green Spinach (Amctranthus h )1bridus L.) is still safe for consumption in terms of BMR Diazinon according to the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia 2015
