dc.description.abstractDetermination of Free Fatty Acid Content (FFA) and Water Content in CPO Oil from loose fruit of palm oil has been carried out at PTPN II Pagar Merbau – Lubuk Pakam. The samples studied came from the PKS garden. The research method used is to use the Nerfoss tool. By using CPO oil from palm oil. From the results of the research conducted, the average water content obtained from CPO was 2.944%, with CPO impurity content was 4.9151% and CPO-free fatty acid content was 48.9%. The quality standard of ALB content set by BSN through SNI-01-2901-2006 is 8%. So the results obtained are for the water content, the results are not in accordance with the water content quality standards set by BSN through SNI-01- 2901-2006. Meanwhile, the ALB level is still at the threshold price according to BSN through SNI-01-2901-2006.en_US
