    Abstract
    Shoes are one of the equipment that is often used in everyday life. Shoes are often used in formal activities such as in the office or in lectures. The level of temperature and humidity in the shoe affects the comfort felt by the user, if the shoe is too humid it can cause bacteria and unpleasant odors. Therefore, shoe drying is designed with a shoe dryer using the Arduino Uno-based DHT11 sensor. This design aims to simplify the shoe drying process. A shoe dryer using an Arduino Uno-based DHT11 sensor has been successfully designed, in this tool the DHT11 sensor will automatically measure the temperature and humidity which will be displayed on the LCD when the limit switch is activated. Then the fan, heater and ultraviolet lamp will turn on. The drying process will be completed when the humidity has reached the predetermined limit, after which the buzzer sounds as a notification alarm and the entire system will turn off. The tool is designed to use an ultraviolet lamp to sterilize the shoes. Testing the tool is done by inserting damp shoes into the box, then the system is turned on by connecting the tool to the adapter, then the DHT11 sensor will measure temperature and humidity which is then displayed on the LCD. From the test results, the average percent deviation for temperature is 1.1% and humidity is 3.4%.
