    Abstract
    An electronic FAD tool has been designed which is a submerged fishing aid with the aim of attracting the attention of fish to gather and making it easier and saving fishermen’s time to catch fish. FADs conventionally use unused items such as rickshaw scraps or coconut leaf midribs. Technological innovations have been carried out that utilize the latest materials, using the Arduino Uno system and LED as electronic FADs that can emit certain colors to attract fish's attention and can be used repeatedly with a long-term shelf life so that they are more effective in supporting infrastructure for fishermen. Utilization of the Arduino Uno System which is equipped with a water sensor will make it easier for fishermen to operate fishing aids in fishing activities. When testing electronic FADs, FADs are put into the water and will automatically turn on the LED to attract fish attention and make fish gather. The sensor that provides an automatic response to turning on the LED on the electronic FAD is the water sensor. The results of the water sensor test show the efficiency of the sensor value in a dry state of 92%, and 12% in a wet condition. Electronic FAD testing is also carried out by inserting the tool into a fish pond habitat containing Nila and Mujair fish species, in the test it can be seen that Nila habitat is more attracted to FADs that emit green color than Mujair fish habitat. This can be seen from the test results which show that within 120 minutes 50 Nila fish gathered around FADs, while there were only 12 Mujair fish gathered around FADs.
