Abstract

Technology has an important role and influence in the development of various aspect of life, which one is cooking tools like stove. Gas stoves are one of the most stove widely used in general public. But in its use often has obstacles like prone to gas leakage, exploded gas, and also the scarity of energy, event Indonesia importing gas to meet current subsidized gas needs. To minimize these obstacles, with the development of tecnology today, induction stoves can be use as an option because they are safer and more efficient. This induction stove uses PLN current voltage source with a 12V adapter and battery that serves as an amplifier also a power saver, where the two voltage sources are flowed to the induction coil in the stove, so that giving raise alternating current in the coil. The alternating current produces that oscilate magnetic field lines and produce eddy current whose direction is circular and surround the magnetic field. The occurrence of eddy current is caused by magnetic induction which gives rise to magnetic flux that penetrates the metal, thus causing heat in the metal.
