dc.description.abstract | Water is a basic need that affects the lives of living things, especially humans.
The increasing population growth makes the demand for water increase. With high
water usage, errors often occur when calculating the amount of water usage. The
problem that often occurs is the unreasonable bill issued by the PDAM that makes
users restless. These errors can occur due to a poor monitoring system and human
error. A tool has been designed that can calculate the water discharge and its
estimated cost by monitoring it through the PLX DAQ which is connected to Ms.
excel. To be able to calculate the water discharge, the flow meter sensor used will
calculate the amount of water flow that passes through the sensor. And the estimated
cost will appear on Ms. excel. The existence of a water flow meter and estimated
costs will make it easier for the public to know the use of water and the costs that
