Design of Measuring pH and Turbidity of Water Well with LCD Display and Android Based on ATMEGA328 Microcontroller
Abstract
Water is a resource that plays an important role in human daily life. Water is used for eating, drinking, bathing, etc. However, not a little people whos found drink or consumtion of water that is less suitable for use in the community. Consumption of water that is not suitable for use/consumption can interfere with the body's metabolism, and can cause disease. To avoid these things, the water used or consumed must have a drinking water quality standards such as the level of turbidity and the pH of the water to be consumed. The standard for drinking water quality according to the Ministry of Health (2017), which has a pH value of 6.5 to 8.5, for a maximum turbidity value of 5 NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit). Therefore, a pH and turbidity meter based on the ATmega328 microcontroller has been designed and implemented with an LCD display and Android. This design tool uses a pH sensor with the type of Electrode E-201 pH sensor and a DIY More pH module type pH-4502C, and a turbidity sensor. Which can display measurement data on Android via a bluetooth signal with the HC-05 bluetooth module. This module is used as a wireless communication module that can be connected to other devices. Data appearance on android, assisted by the blynk application which is one of the server services that supports the Internet of Things (IOT) project. This application was created with the aim of controlling and monitoring hardware remotely with internet and intranet data communication (LAN network).
