dc.description.abstractThis study aims to estimate the parameters of factor analysis using the maximum likelihood method. This research describe how to estimate factor extraction parameters from factor analysis and factor analysis carried out using the maximum likelihood method using sample data. Evaluation of the method is carried out by observing the resulting root mean square error. Based on existing data, The estimated root mean square error using the Maximum Likelihood method is 0.01. From these results it can be seen that parameter estimation using the maximum likelihood method is good for this model because it has a small root mean square error.en_US
