Penerapan Regresi Linier Berganda dalam Menganalisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Nilai Tukar Petani di Sumatera Utara
Application of Multiple Linear Regression Method in Analysis of Factor Affecting Farmer Exchange Rate in North Sumatera
Abstract
Farmer's Exchange Rate is a comparison between the price index received by farmers (lt) and the price index paid by farmers (lb). Farmer's exchange rate is used as a proxy indicator of farmer's welfare. This study was conducted to determine the factors that affect the exchange rate of farmers in North Sumatera in 2007-2021. The independent variables used in this research are inflation, economic growth and labor force participation rate. The data used in this study is secondary data, obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of North Sumatera Province. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression method which will produce an equation to describe the influence of the dependent variable with the independent variable. Based on the results of the analysis, the multiple linear regression equation obtained is: Y =107,836-0,141X1+2,855X2-0,331X3, from the equation, the F-count value using the simultaneous test is 4,779, bigger than the F-table value with a level of 5% significance. This means that there is a direct influence between inflation, economic growth, and the level of labor force participation together on the exchange rate of farmers in North Sumatera in 2007-2021.
